Q Instructions You are a Research and Partnership Associate at Global Metal Suppliers, Inc. Your supervisor, the Director of Partnerships, is meeting with a new potential international client, who is interested in using your company’s metals to craft railings, sculptures, light posts, roofing, frames, and other surface and structural elements that will be visible on their regional customers’ homes. Before the meeting, your supervisor wants to know as much as possible about the cultural and aesthetic values of the client’s region, which will help your supervisor better speak to the possibilities of shaping Global Metal Suppliers, Inc.’s raw metals into culturally significant objects that your client’s regional customers would feel comfortable putting on their homes. Your supervisor has asked you to tour a museum in the client’s country to examine its culture (including its history, art, and values) and report back on some of the artifacts and aesthetic preferences of the country.
